Throat Feels Funny Am I Sick

| enemytomybody Newbie (female) Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: Polperro UK Posts: 1 | I have a drs appointment booked for Wednesday, have been really ill for a week. started with a sore throat and hoarse voice. that went and came back with whitish yellow spots at the back of my mouth. they spread and are now everywhere, I have a lump in my throat, swallowing is weird, feel nauseas, keep sweating buckets, then cold, feel stupidly tired and like I'm gonna pass out. arms are weak, am chesty, headaches, ear aches, sinus pains with no runny nose. back aches, period pains although i came off over a week ago and would generally like to claw my way out of my body. I've scraped the stuff off my mouth as best i can but it just keeps coming back, can't clear the back of my nose, though its not running. have slight thrush down below but thats nothing new. never had oral thrush and didn't think it made you feel so terrible, what the hell is wrong? it seems to get worse every day. Am considering taking myself to the vet and asking to be put down lol. Has anyone had anything similar and is it sounding like thrush? keep thinking maybe it might go away on its own? but in the mean time what do i do? tried yoghurt etc |

In the beginning of your post you say you are going to the doc on Wednesday but at the end you say you don't want to bother hm with this? I would "bother" him, really - you are going to be there anyway. I have no idea if thrush could make you feel this bad but strep can make you feel awful. I would get it checked out. I would not scrape the back of the throat this injures the delicate tissues more making it easier for the germs to dig in deeper. Feeling faint as if to pass out is something they usually tell people to head to the emergency room for. Has there been unprotected relations with anyone? If so it might be important to notify the doctor about on Wednesday for a blood test. Candida albicans can also make some similar symptoms but there are plenty of other organisms out there to point fingers at so a culture might be needed. I am sorry about all this, feel better soon! |
